The Minster Junior School held a school wide project where over 450 entries were made to decide our Giraffes design and name. The winning design was an fusion of two winners, one being a beautiful explosion of colour and patterns showing the vast diversity in our school. The other design was a skeleton design metaphorically portraying that underneath, we are very similar though we celebrate our differences. The name ‘Puzzle’ was the perfect fit for our Giraffe as it represents that Croydon is a puzzle of different cultures, food, beliefs, music, fashions etc. More figuratively the skeleton is like a physical puzzle made of bones.
