Gloria represents everything that is unique about Croydon High. Designed and painted by pupils from Years 7-13, her brightly coloured hooves represent the four Houses, named after inspirational women. Our school mantra, ‘Every girl, every day’ features strongly and Gloria is adorned with maps and designs representing the many different cultures that make up our diverse community. The Embrace Equity logo designed for International Women’s Day is also celebrated, alongside other imagery that acknowledges the people and projects that are important to Croydon High. And of course, there is plenty of ivy, our school emblem, helping make Gloria, simply glorious.
