Giraffes only need water every few days or even sometimes weeks at a time. They get all their moisture from the vegetation they eat. Hence how ‘Dew’ the giraffe was born. I kept the iconic giraffe print and within that, created another pattern of layered botanical leaves. I added drops of different shades of blue, symbolising the moisture that the giraffes get from all the vegetation.
