Meet Lucy Hebden

Lucy (Lucy Loves Design) is a surface pattern and printed textile designer. Loving to draw, paint, collage and explore new ways of making patterns, Lucy’s work is inspired by the natural world and always starts with hand painted motifs. These are then developed into digitalised patterns for fashion, home furnishings, interior products, stationery, and wallcoverings.

She recently discovered a new surface for her patterns when she painted them all over a giant rocket sculpture for another Wild in Art trail.

When Lucy isn’t designing, she passes on her love of learning by teaching art and design.
